Introducing Cellular Mode for Seamless Connectivity

Stay connected, even on the go! The new Cellular Mode feature in WiLine Connect ensures that users remain reachable, even in areas with lack of or poor internet connectivity. Whether you're traveling or facing an unstable network, this feature ensures uninterrupted communication.


📌 What Does It Do?

With Cellular Mode, users can:

  • Never miss an important call – Incoming calls are automatically forwarded to the user’s mobile phone when the feature is enabled.
  • Make calls without internet – When dialing an external number, the system redirects the call, first calling the user’s mobile phone and then connecting them to the recipient.
  • Seamless transition during calls – If network quality drops mid-call, users can activate Cellular Mode on the spot by dialing *28, ensuring a smooth connection.

⚙️ How It Works

  1. Set Up Your Mobile Number:

    • In the Admin Portal, go to Edit User or Create User and ensure the correct mobile number is entered in the designated field.
  2. Enable or Disable Cellular Mode:

    • Dial *28 from your extension.
    • You will hear a voice confirmation:
      • "Cellular Mode Enabled."
      • "Cellular Mode Disabled."
  3. Call Handling:

    • Incoming Calls: Automatically forwarded to the user’s mobile phone when Cellular Mode is enabled.
    • Outgoing Calls: When the user dials an external number, the system first calls the user’s mobile phone before connecting them to the recipient.

  4. Emergency Activation Without Internet:

    • If a user loses all connectivity, they can activate Cellular Mode remotely by calling (183) 341-85028 from their mobile phone.
